A cool video I found recently

While searching for 'happy songs' on youtube to play while one of my teenage classes were engaged in project work, I decided to locate Maxwell's Silver Hammer; because it sounds happy (!) and also because some of the class had been singing 'Hello, Goodbye', which they'd learnt at school. If you know the song, you'll know that the lyrics aren't exactly all peace and love.

Anyway, here's the video. I think it's a great animation and I actually used it a class with some older teenagers. It appealed to their sense of humour as they love stuff like South Park and Family Guy.

What do you think?!

  2. The music masks the freaky story so well. Nightmares all around, I'd say. Well found.

  3. Richard, I like your blog. And I can see how you will be able to get your students blogging along. Your profile picture threw me for a second - couldn't quite make out what it was! Ha.

  4. Thanks for commenting, David. I hope the students will be up for a blog! The profile picture is a street performer I photographed in Malaga last year, a great idea!
